Hello Ladies !

I finally did it , a video with me speaking Greek. If the feedback is good i shall do lots more of them otherwise its just English from now on :p. Im really really casual in this video so do excuse the adidas hoodie and the hair oh and makeup. The lighting isnt that good either i do realise , but im working on it guys , in the next video things should be much better! I will have photos further down of my favorites for a closer look and for any of you who didnt understand what i was talking about.

How are you all today ?! The weather here is so melancholic, dark and cold. I hope in a few days that this weather finally starts to be like summer! If you follow me on facebook or twitter you would have seen my Loreal gift i was sent, i decided today would be perfect to show you some swatches of the products. Enjoy !

 

Loreal Miss Candy Range Lipgloss

These really do look like candy , they remind me of those tasty lollipops you get that are huge and have ripples of flavour in them. The bottle is shaped in such a way that it makes it easy for you to grip on to it and just like candy attracts you to eat it , well this attracts you to apply lipgloss. They both have a like a sweet cherry smell to them or thats what i think anyway. 

705 Strawberry Licorice : It has ripples of  a shimmery peach and red blood like color going through the lipgloss. When applied to the hand it has a strawberry like color to it , its not that deep red as it looks in the bottle neither that peach color , it almost has a sweet like red finish touch with a shimmer that would be suitable for a nice bright red. This is great for summer.As you can tell also it has great pigmentation.

713 Cola Fizz : This final lipgloss i was sent has ripples of brown which seems more shimmery compared to the red in the previous gloss and a warm cream which reminds me off cocoa butter. When applies the color turns out to look like a warm cream with tints of brown in it. This would look fab on sunkissed skin , i also think this is one of them colors that would suit all skin types but mainly tanned. I imagine this with no lipstick underneath for a natural touch to my lips however if you do want to place lipstick under this i would apply it to nude like colors. Once again great pigmentation however it is more discreet as a color.

Loreal Color Riche Le Vernis in 213 Sassy Pink

I remember seeing if im right in saying so, at Greek Bloggers Meeting in Athens that was recently , a lot of the girls showed their goodies bag with these nail varnishes. They talked about how they were like gel or they conatin gel inside ( which obviously makes your nails last longer.). When i heard about this i was super excited to try these new nail polishes and thankfully Loreal sent me a polish to try and guess what im loving it so far. 

213 Sassy Pink : This is a fun pink like color that reminds me of that classic barbie pink. The bottle is small and has a really handy brush which is thicker than usual ( think opi) which helps spread evenly nail polish to the whole face of your nail. When i applied this nail polish i noticed that it was quick drying which is good and had a natural shine to it. On top of this gel i did apply a top coat by Bourjois which i love because it has super high shine. So far so good , its the third day wearing this nail polish i have been doing chores around the house - this aint coming off. I cant wait to go to my local beauty store and get more of these bad boys !

Loreal Color Infallible Eyeshadow 

I love the eyeshadow design so unique and even though i thought somehow the eyeshadow opened through the front it actually doesnt, it opens from the back and has an extra back so eyeshadow doesnt make things dirty.The eyeshadows remind me off minerals , i think its because they have that shimmer and that bumpy like surface. 

031 Innocent Turquoise: Is a blue/ aqua like color which on the actual advert for Loreal Miss Candy range i noticed the girl wears this eyeshadow with a pink lipstick and lipgloss. It looks fab and im going to try this out for sure. The eyeshadow is super high shine and very pigmented, i think i can almost see tints of silver and white within this color. 

032 Sassy Marshmallow: This eyeshadow reminds me of a dark silver yet grey color that would be perfect for a smokey eye. I would apply this color on the lid and blend a dark grey on the outer v. This is great summer smokey eye though because its not too dark, afterall summer is about bright colors. When swatched its actually super light and almost reminds me of a highlighter. When you move your hand it goes from a metallic white to a darker white with tints of grey in. On second thoughts maybe this would work great as an inner eye highlight.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and most importantly got an idea of what this new range is like color wise and price wise. I will make sure i review these at some point however so far the nail varnish is a favorite!

I really wanted to share this with you for a while and i finally managed to do this video, i hope its good. I know how useful these videos can be, i always youtube to find a storage solution to my things or i like to see in general how peoples bedrooms are decorated. Kerastase Cristalliste Hair care Range. 

Loreal was kind enough to send me the new Kerastase range that helps long hair shine  and look beautiful. I am a huge fan of their Elixir Ultime oil for the hair so im really excited to see how these products will work for me. There is a shampoo for thick and thin hair which is called the luminous perfecter and the conditioner which once again says luminous perfecting silky hair that is free flowing. Finally there is a Serum that you apply to the ends of your hair. Dont these look great and they smell so good as well, i look forward to reviewing these for you guys.

Spatone 100% Natural Iron Supplement

My Iron Problem

For any of you who dont know, i do have very low levels of iron in my blood. This is due to the fact that i dont eat a lot of meat ( yes , even though im Greek) and i drink a lot of tea and dont eat enough fruit. You are probably thinking what has the last two points got to do with anything, well heres the facts. Did you know when you eat for example some meat that contains high levels of iron in and drink some tea that the tea stops the iron staying in the blood. Did you know that Vitamin C (found in fruits) helps the absorption of iron to your blood. I didnt and im trying to fix this. 

I suffer from hair loss as well which is due to the iron deficiency i have and i used to get really tired easily, but that was until i started taking supplements. When the doctor gave me some iron tablets and liquid like shots (i like to call them) i couldnt eat and my stomach was turning like crazy. I couldnt take them anymore so i opted for more natural methods that are kinder to the stomach, i have tried several but for now this is the first one im going to show you, Spatone.    

 

Review

This is a big and heavy box ( by the terms of normal sizes and weights of supplements), inside the box it has 28 one a day sachets. These sachets as demonstrated in the pictures are to be drank with either water or juice. I drink mine with juice because the taste of them with water reminds me of blood , yes blood whereas the juice disguises this taste. You empty out the sachet in a cup and then fill it up with juice in my case till it fills up around 3/4 of the glass. You then must drink it within 2 minutes.

I have actually enjoyed taking these iron supplements because at the same time they have encouraged me to drink juice which is great because i get my one out of five a day. They are easy to carry around all you need is a sachet if your gone for a day and whenever you get that chance to drink some water from a bottle or some juice, just empty the sachet in the product and drink. They are not sticky or dirty, im saying this because previous iron supplements have been. They are 100% natural and are suitable for everyone over the age of two , pregnancy, vegetarians , vegans, health conscious and so on. 

What i love about this sachets are that at the back of everyone there is a fact about iron, so everytime i would take my daily dose i would learn something new. They are also easily absorbed and are kind to your stomach - kudos points. I love the fact that even for some reason if you forget the instructions at the back of every sachet there are instructions , ingredients and facts. These are not that expensive if you think about what you get , they work out around 10 euro and i got mine from Feel Unique and i now need to buy another box. I have loved these, they have not caused me any problems and they managed to provide iron to my body just like other supplements did.

Believe it or not , i havent had a chance to read anyones blog this week due to being busy, so im really excited to read through all of them and leave some lovely comments. I want to begin with saying some news of mine, that im thinking about starting Italian. I literally have nothing to do and im one of those people that like to be occupied otherwise they go crazy and apart from that i love learning new things. I know my previous post was a summer must have but i wanted to post about this asap because there are lots of offers going on right now. Enjoy !

  

Waxing 

Waxing is so important to me during summer , its unbelievable. I love knowing i can put on a pair of shorts and know for sure there are no hairs on my legs.I dont know about you but when i shave my legs, the next day i will notice either hairs i missed out or be left with lots of cuts and grazes. Most women i ask always tell me they have the same problem and thats why during summer they opt for waxing. Waxing can last up to one month, yes it really is that great however in return you have to put up with a few minutes of pain. 

Pain

I want to start off by saying that waxing might be painful but its all about getting used to that pain, if you know what i mean. Some of my tips and tricks for having a less painful outcome are the following. 

  Baby Powder: Before waxing apply some on the area you are about to wax and you will notice the pain will be a little bit better. Tried and tested by me and i have noticed a difference. When you dont put baby powder on your skin before hand you are actually pulling your skin along with your hairs causing greater pain. Baby powder helps diminish any excess oil on your skin and will make sure that the waxing trip only focuses on picking up your hairs.

Paracetamol: An hour before you wax take a paracetamol to help numb things up a little bit more. This is especially great if you are getting your bikini area waxed.This doesnt make you numb, it just helps make things a little bit more painless.

Period/ Flu: If you have your period or if you are ill , your body tends to be more sensitive which means this will cause greater pain, try to avoid these things when waxing.

Dont waste the strips.
A lot of us tend to think that because we waxed one part that means you have to change the strip and pull out a new one. No , thats called wasting the strips. Im not saying go using one strip for your whole leg , what im saying is that if less than 50 % off the strip is clean (there arent that many hairs) then stick it on another part and wax again and then throw away. For example the backs of my legs hardly have any hairs so i tend to use a strip to do all the back area  to the ankle.

Aftercare

Afterwards i usually wipe down the area with the wax remover wipes (usually free in wax kit) and then the next day i shower and shave any parts i missed out or any shorter hairs that couldnt be picked up by the wax. I then moisturize really well so no itching or redness occurs. Please note its important after waxing on whatever area of your body or face not to shower straight after and neither apply makeup because your pores are open and it can cause infection, leave it at least 6 hours if you can. 

 

Which wax do i choose ?!

There are different types of waxes you can choose , im only going to recommend the ones i have used and can tell you safely they are worth it. First of all , your easiest option is going to a beautician who will do it for you , they normally have packets during summer saying or example full leg , bikini and underarms 30 euro. These kind of packets are worth it because by the time you buy the wax and you do it yourself you might as well get it done by a professional who will do it perfect and it wont b that messy or stressful for you. Apart from that any of you who are interested in doing it yourselves, i have three products i can recommend. 

 

Oriflame Silk Beauty: Oriflame in Greece currently has an offer on for these for 7 euro i think and you get 16 strips (8 sets of 2's|0 in total. In the set they also give you two wax remover wipes , which do a really great job by the way.  

Veet (blue packet): I appear to have forgotten the name but anyway , i usually get Veets economic pack which have 40 strips in they work out at around 15 euro i think, but they are seriously worth it (hence the amount you get and they are veet). Here in Greece i get Veet from Hondos Center at that price and there is a blue and pink packet , i usually get the blue, for anyone interested. The strips have been cut really nice as well to help you pull the strip when waxing. 

 I think they have stopped selling the roller i used to buy from Body Shop !!

Body Shop Wax Strips:   I used to buy these when i was in England, i would buy the wax which you have to heat up in a microwave or pan, and then the strips which were so nice and could be washed again and re used (which for some reason i didnt like the idea off and never tried it. Things did get really messy with this set because i would have to apply the wax on my leg and it would go all over the place and bleurgh. Thats why now i only buy ready made ones , so much easier however if you do like to do the whole thing yourself body shops wax is great!

I usually wax my legs and some of my eyebrows. This year i have said im going to go get my bikini area waxed , either that or do it myself. I think it will make things so much easier for when your on holiday or at the beach and are constantly in a bikini. My question for you guys is ...

The weather is so weird here , its warm yet looks like a day from Autumn. I wanted to continue my little summer guide for summer/ holidays or hot weather in general because i do love sharing my tips and finding out your tips as well. Sun Protection 

Im not going to lie i dont hugely know the shizz about suncream , the how it was created and what the reasons are behind each name. Im going to share with you what i do know about suncream , what i like to use and so on. Obviously i would like to point out i am half Greek and luckily enough for me i took from the Greek side and came out with olive/chocolate colored skin, which means i tan well and i dont really need that much protection. (I still need it but you know what i mean .)


Lets begin with the face , its the one part of my body that i constantly no matter what make sure i have suncream on with high protection. Its important as well that the suncream is suitable for your skin type because some of them will start to cause problems for your skin and can break you out or even bring you out in rashes. I use Korres 50 spf at the moment , it is for all skin types and even though its good at doing its work i dont feel that comfortable with it , considering i have oily skin the formula is pretty heavy which doesnt make my skin feel that good. Most formulas for oily skin are light and are a gel like substance, it feels so much better on the skin. Anyway lets move on because im now nearly talking about skin biology which is off the subject.


For my body i dont really have a specific cream that i use to protect me from the sun as my body is pretty normal and if anything its in need of hydration. I currently have Garnier Golden Tan finish with spf 30, its really nice because it applies on lightly and gives this lovely glow to your skin.


For my lips , now that it is summer i use a lip balm that has spf in , the one i am using at the moment is by Apivita and it has spf 15 in. This makes sure my lips are moisturized and protected at the same time !! Who wouldnt want this kind of protection ?!


For my hair , which i still havent purchased (naughty me ) , i have found different sprays retailing at around 10 euro organic and non organic in supermarkets and in chemists. Just the way you protect your hair from thermal stylers , you need to protect your hair from the sun that burns your hair without you knowing it.


This is pretty much everything as far as going protecting your body from the sun. I will be doing a guide to tanning ( which will be by far my favorite guide )  so look out for the next post and send in your requests of other guides you would like me to do.

How are you all ?! Im so jealous of everyone who has been to the sea for their first swim :(. Even though the weather is great here , the sea is an hour away and it aint that fantastic !! Cant wait for my summer holidays :) Today i decided to share with you my showergel collection, i dont want anyone to take this personally and think i am showing off or not using them and buying more. I have stopped buying showergels because i currently have a lot in my opinion and i am using them one by one- so dont jump to conclusions.  Enjoy this post !

Now that summer is almost here , i thought it would be great to share with you some of my summer must haves that will be divided in different posts. Im going to start off with the famous Havaianas flip flops that all celebrities wear and have the best quality. Enjoy the post !

Havaianas Flip Flops 

If you are looking for some good flip flops for summer, you should definitely be looking into buying these. Even if your budget is not within this price you should think about it hard because trust me it works out much cheaper than you think. 

I ordered mine for summer after seeing all over magazines all the celebrities wearing them, lets be honest most of the time celebrities know what they are buying. Jimmy Choo may have some flip flops for 200 euro but on a daily basis celebrities would be wearing these. Intrigued i ordered my pair from Asos and was amazed. I have had mine for around 3 years , i wear them on a daily basis in the garden , to do chores around the house , to go out in and at the beach. Lets be honest everyones flip flops always break at the beach. These dont. 

 They are waterproof and comfortable. The bit that goes in between your toes never has hurt me. The only thing i noticed was that it can come off at times if pulled very hard but you can easily secure it again back in the hole on the sole of your flip flop. These make me feel so secure everytime i wear them , the amount of times i have heard of people's flip flops breaking at inconvenient times is crazy. Those people though are even more crazy that they still continue to buy cheap plastic flip flops that will cost them 5 euro and will last all your holidays only. 

These cost 20 euro and there is free delivery from Asos ( i will link you below) . I got mine in the color pink and they are a size 39-40 for anyone interested. They have flip flops for kids, women and men. I never regret this buy of mine and i think most of you will agree with me that these are worth the price tag.

Hello ! How have you all been ?! This month has flown over literally and soon its going to be summer and i cant wait to go on holiday. Yes , right now holidays is the only thing im thinking off. Soon i will be doing lots of posts related to dieting, fitness routine and sun protection (as well as tanning tips.) Enjoy my favourites! <3. 

My April Favourites.

Avon True Colour Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Lace Electric.

This palette i actually got free with one of the Greek magazines and i was really excited to try this out. Even though honestly i have only used the white and grey i think this palette is fantastic. Its very cheap for the amount of eyeshadow you get and for the quality. I personally always wear a primer on my eyes/face so ive never seen these shadows creasing or fading. I would definitely buy another one of these palettes if i get the chance too.

Sjal Kashmir Saphir Perfecting Mask.

This was one of my prizes from Zuneta and i actually loved this. This has crushed pearls and exfoliates gently your skin whilst at the same time is a mask for your face.I find it gives this beautiful glow to my skin and i tend to put it on my skin , on days that my skin is looking pretty dull. It has never broke me out which im so happy about however this comes at a pretty big price tag. 

 

  Avon Foot Works Spray in Lavender

Again this si from Avon , i actually bought this because during the hot weather feet tend to get hot and bothered and can set off a not so good smell. I prefer to play safe, and as soon as i come out of the bath i spray this on my feet and then put my socks on. Perfect summer treat. This is a must have for all ladies for summer. 

Avon Nailwear Pro in Aqua Fantasy

Yes, another product from Avon. This is amazing , i found without a top coat it lasted me nearly 1 week which for any of you women who dont know thats amazing. Did i forget to mention the color is the most adorable aqua like summer time color. If you order from Avon get this color !!

Mac Lip Conditioner.

This really does what it says on the packet. I tend to put this on when im doing my makeup for a night out . I apply it whilst im actually doing it so by the time i get to my lips they are soft and sometimes i even use this as a lipgloss. This makes my lips soft and gets rid off any dryness and chapiness.

New Vogue Greece Magazine

For any of you interested it comes with either a full size Body Shop Shower Gel or Body Lotion. I only found Lemon scented :/ .

April Empties 

My Clinique Liquid Face Soap oily skin formula has lasted me one year and a half. Its so good for anyone with acne prone skin. 

My Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish has been so kind to my skin and would always leave my skin feeling so soft afterwards. I loved this.

My Palmolive Purple colored huge bottle showergel in lavender and ylang ylang. I am obsessed with this scent by far my favorite shower gel !!!
